Trey, Carter and Jaden get after a drill requiring attention to detail in their footwork and lateral movement.

Simple. Effective.

How effective is AI at teaching running technique?

Meet Kylie. This is her first ever run ——> final run of the night.

One session. Massive improvement. Imagine what we can do with time to continuously evaluate and teach…

Good things come to those who are willing to work for them. It doesn’t matter your age, gender, genetics, size, etc.. No one has exemplified that greater than this young man.

I have never been around a kid with as much drive or passion to get better as Mike.

Mike has been with me a really long time. I remember training the little guy shown in the first picture when he was in AI. He built a base level of athleticism there and then decided he wanted to compete in CrossFit.

The choice will always be his and I will always support him in whatever he wants to do. As long as he wants this, I’ll be here to help him along his way. If he ever wants to try something else, I’ll be there to support too.

Effort earns respect. Regardless of his age, he has earned mine.

From young and not sure about fitness/training to the guy you see Overhead Squatting 315# (in the video) and finishing 5th in the WORLD in the CrossFit Open 16-17 year old division, his story is one of hard work and dedication.

The journey is just starting and I couldn’t be more thrilled to be a part of it!

Acceleration Iowa Urbandale.

It is never too early to start learning correct athletic movement. We teach athletes how to sprint, run, jump and change direction correctly from day one.

This is John. John has made great strides since starting at Acceleration Iowa. On the left is a video of his first ever run. On the right is a video of his run from approximately a week ago.

In the left video he is running barely 4 mph flat.
On the right he is running 9 at 15 degrees elevation.

The time to start is now. We work with athletes ages 8-18. Click this link to get signed up today:

Drew Foster.

Stats:
– Never won an Iowa State title (Mediapolis High School)
– Northern Iowa Assistant coach Randy Pugh was told Drew was a “great kid” but not a Division 1 wrestler at beginning of recruiting process.
– Needed Pugh to convince ENTIRE coaching staff to take a chance on him.
– 15-18 as a Redshirt Freshman

THE STAT THAT MATTERS:

– 2019 NCAA CHAMPION AT 184 POUNDS.

“A lot of belief, not only self-belief, coach believing, university believing, teammates, my family members, the whole community believing. When you’ve got that kind of backing, it’s hard not — it’s hard to get beat when you’ve got that.”

Every day at Acceleration Iowa Urbandale this is what we are doing. We are trying to help ALL of our athletes write their own success stories. They will all achieve to different degrees, but the goal is to help EACH AND EVERY ONE of them maximize their potential.

You never know when your opportunity will come.
When it does, will you be ready to take advantage of it?
Let us help you be prepared for that moment.

Training teaches you what your body is capable of.

Performing is consistently expressing what your body is capable of.

Winners don’t always win, they train and perform to the best of their abilities at all times and they always, ALWAYS move forward.
