OUR STAFF

Shawn has been the director of speed and agility at Acceleration Iowa for the past decade. He was a 5-sport athlete in high school, being selected as an all state athlete in football, basketball, and baseball. Following high school, Shawn attended Iowa State University where he played on the club baseball team.

After graduating from ISU in 2008, with a degree in Kinesiology, he began coaching at Acceleration Iowa. Working with hundreds of athletes over the past decade, Shawn has developed a keen eye for proper sprint mechanics. Throughout his time at AI, he has trained more than 20 track and field state champions, 50 division-1 athletes, and 5 who went on to play professionally.
